So this isn’t an action packed novel; it’s a story of love and self discovery that you sit, ponder and enjoy. It’s a ghost story, but not a scary one. And Helen—terrified, but intrigued—is drawn to him. Laura Whitcom I was told it is a modern ghost story. Like a desert wanderer afraid of mirages, I gazed at my oasis, but he was slatn. Helen and James, the couple in question, are ghosts left behind in the Light, having been dead for nearly years.

z The concept of the story, in my opinion, was truly original. It is meant bh be not good to have overbearing religious parents and saying everyone who isn’t Christian is going to Hell.
However, I cannot recommend this book if you’re looking for some light reading or simply for a cute romance. Helen stays with her host until her host dies, and when she feels herself slipping back into the icy clutch of her grave, she latches on to a new host.
