Here’s something special just for you! The main thing I can recall about reading this book is that it was so incredibly boring. That’s why I’m leaving that job to Helen. In addition, the introduction of charming Orion into the equations adds a new dimension to the romance in this novel, forming an epic love triangle.
His known abilities are being able to sway the hearts of others, sense emotions, open one way portals, super strength and speed, cause earthquakes and being able to breathe underwater. The way Angelini did this was great.
You could call Automedon “the Terminator” instead, and it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch. Still, it was an excellent read and I genuinely enjoyed it. Read more of my reviews on Sparkles and Lightning!
Helen Hamilton just can’t Google, define “sophomore slump” for me, please. For a book of this length, it has a surprising lack of depth. Confused by her conflicting emotions but glad to have an ally in hell, Helen begins to realize the enormity of her task. Ahh I can’t even come up with words to describe how amazing it was. I was really disappointed in her character and that was saddening, since I loved her so much in Starcrossed.

Funny and brave, Orion shields her from the dangers of the Underworld. Very excited to move on to the last book! Didn’t see that coming. That all of you scions are based very loosely off of Greek figures.
Dreamless is more focused on Helen’s role in the new josrphine she found herself part of. Not another love triangle!!!

The novel was eventually given release dates of April 5, in Spain, May 15, in Germany, and May 31, in the United States. Oh, did I mention that I’m also immensely powerful? I can summarize it in one sentence and you probably wouldn’t miss much.
Ariadne Delos —The younger sister of Hector and twin sister of Jason. Helen and Lucas are taking a break, since something happened in Starcrossed and led to them breaking apart, but Helen can’t keep her mind off of him.

Claire Aoki — Claire is Helens charismatic, vivacious Japanese friend who is often at Helen’s side throughout the trilogy.
I have good reasons for both Lucas and Orion and negative reasons for both. Known powers include super strength, speed and the ability to heal others. It’s not my fault I go down to the underworld every night and rdeamless for days and days and end up getting hurt and this all means that my body needs more energy.
Let’s try something different here When the final battles come around, she once again finds the strength within herself to fight for all of them.
